Connecting trumpeters with composers of some great new works!
Trumpeters are only as rich as their repertoire. Every work on this page exists because someone decided it should — most of them commissioned by Eric Berlin, or by ensembles and consortia he assembled — and all of them are available to play.
That work has been institutional as well as personal. Eric Berlin served on the Board of Directors of the International Trumpet Guild from 2011 to 2018, chairing its New Works Committee and sitting on its Commissioning Committee — the bodies charged with bringing new music into the trumpet world and getting it into players’ hands. The list below is the same project at individual scale.
Publishers are named where a work is in print, and piano reductions are noted. If you are programming any of this music and want to talk it through, write to majesty@majesticbrass.com.
