I have spent a lot of time thinking about the concepts that I teach in my studio. These ideas owe their origins to the incredible teachers under whom I have been privileged to study and a couple of decades of private and studio teaching. My primary mentor, Charles Schlueter has been talking about his “book” since I met him in 1987. With Charlie ever as my guide, now knowing I will probably never get around to writing MY book, I have begun to write these ideas down to share.
